
Leila V. Moore, Ed.D.
Leila Moore, Ed. D., is an Adjunct Professor of Student Affairs in Higher Education at Salem State College in Salem, MA. Dr. Moore is a past president of ACPA College Student Educators International and of the ACPA Foundation. She has been a graduate faculty member at the University at Albany, the College of Saint Rose, Bowling Green State University, and Penn State University. She has also served on numerous accreditation teams and has been a consultant to student affairs staff and faculty at more than thirty colleges and universities. Her responsibilities as a student affairs practitioner have been in the offices of Counseling and Mental Health, Career Services, Judicial Affairs, Student Activities, Leadership Development, Residence Life, Assessment, New Student Orientation, and Student Unions. In 2002, having served higher education in administrative and faculty roles for four decades, she retired from the University of New Hampshire where she had been Vice President for Student Affairs since 1995.
Dr. Moore holds a Bachelors Degree in English Literature from Carnegie Mellon University, a Masters Degree in Student Personnel Administration from Syracuse University, and a Doctor of Education Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University at Albany.
