I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Ms. Tracy Boswell as Assistant Vice President for Student Support and Resource Centers. Ms. Boswell will begin employment with the Institute on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020.

Ms. Boswell currently serves as the Director of Administration and Education for the Colonial Student Health Center at The George Washington University. Ms. Boswell began her employment at The George Washington University as an Office Administrator for the Health Center, and then was promoted to the position of Director of Business Operations prior to being appointed Director of Administration and Education. The Colonial Student Health Center consists of a 50-member clinical staff, an administrative staff of 12, and a $6 million operating budget. Ms. Boswell has implemented an electronic health records system; a campuswide wellness program; and developed policies related to HIPPA, Mental Health, Immunization, Influenza, and Communicable Disease. In addition, she facilitated strategic planning for Counseling, Psychological, and Medical services.

Prior to joining The George Washington University, Ms. Boswell served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Children’s National Medical Center, where she coordinated a Pulmonary Hypertension and Hypoxic Tissue Response in Sickle Cell Disease Research study, and supervised a staff of four Clinical Research Assistants.

Ms. Boswell received her MBA, Master of Public Health, and B.A. in Biology from The George Washington University.

Please join me in welcoming Ms. Tracy Boswell to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and to the Division of Student Life.
